July has started by having a MOMO party for the second Saturday and ended by holding a wonderful presentation by class DAWA and NYIMA. Everything has gone smoothly and nicely in July.
We didn't have so many English classes in this month; instead we had workshops on Modern Buddhism taught by a Renpo Che, Workshop on Human Rights, and Democracy by some officials from CHOTHY. And workshop on Head Massage by Sam (the volunteer from England). We focused on general knowledge because all these things are considered to be useful for our students who are leaving the school soon.
All workshops have ended beautifully and the students learnt lots of things from them, especially, the Buddhism teacher gave valuable lessons that are worth practicing and keeping in one's mind in order to have a meaningful life.
We had three days holiday for The Tibetan National Smoke Offering Day, and all teachers and students went to welcome H.H.Dalai Lhama on the day he came back to his Palace from US.
July is a month full of enjoyment and relaxing. We went to have football competitions (nomads' team and farmers' team beat each other) three times. All these times are memorable moments, crossed the river hands in hands because the river is massive during the monsoon. Enjoyable English meetings holding by those students who are staying in the school.
July is also the last month for the students who are leaving the school and the atmosphere in the school is friendly and cherishable. It is very special for everyone in this sweet home and a rich garden of education.
The students are on their 15 days holiday and the volunteer Susan is leaving the school on the 29th of this month.
All in all, everything has gone smoothly and in a well organized way in July.
