First Group - 2002 To 2004

The first group of students started with us in 2002 in Bangalore, south India, and finished in 2004. They did an English course in preparation for Cambridge University exams, a CISCO Networking Computing course, Graphic Design, and the Indian National Open School 10th grade exams. Most of the students returned to Tibet following their time at the school.

Everyone has different thoughts and kinds of experiences in their lives. As for me, I studied in Tibet for more than ten years. Also I went to the Tibetan Transit School in exile, but I have never felt that my school was like my home until I came to the lovely Kunphen Cultural School (E S Trust).

I know every school doesn't have the same facilities, but I believe that this school is very different to the other schools which I used to study in. Even though the school is small, and we don't have our own school building or enough comfortable classrooms, the education I have received here has been of a high quality.

I like the school more than my home because I have found the one thing that I wanted, compassion, peace, love and support from my cozy family. I consider the twenty-four students who study here as my real brothers and sisters. We are always helping each other and I am encouraged

by them. Our manager is like my father, he changed everything for me in my life. All the volunteer teachers who come to this school are like our relatives. They are all very kind and care about the students' well being and help us with their willingness and determination if we have any problems. Really I love them very much and am very grateful to them.

Now my time at the wonderful school is almost completed and I can't find any suitable word to express my feelings about the school. I am afraid of leaving and saying goodbye to the school and my dear responsible staff and friendly schoolmates. I won't forget my lovely school- Education Support Tibet.
