First Group - 2002 To 2004

The first group of students started with us in 2002 in Bangalore, south India, and finished in 2004. They did an English course in preparation for Cambridge University exams, a CISCO Networking Computing course, Graphic Design, and the Indian National Open School 10th grade exams. Most of the students returned to Tibet following their time at the school.

Fundraising

We are currently fundraising in order to build our own school in the local area, as the rent on our current building will soon expire. The current group of 24 students at Kunpan Cultural School started their two years of study with us in 1st Sept 2011 and will finish in Sept 2013. Monthly School News

In the first week of this month the Dalai Lama gave some teachings at the temple at Norbulingka. The school closed for the week so that the students could attend. They enjoyed the teachings a great deal and reported that they were deeply touched by them........

My Time at the School

I can't believe that almost two years have passed since I stepped in the gate of E.S.T., which is the home of 24 homeless refugees. To me these two years seem like an hour of exciting game for kindergarten children. They have just gone without even being noticed.
