Founded in 2005, Omprakash is a free web-based platform that connects a diverse network of over 160 grassroots social projects in over 30 countries with a global audience of volunteers, classrooms, and communities that can learn from and support their work. Through direct dialogue with project leaders, individuals that register in our network can find robust opportunities to volunteer, intern, or conduct research with a range of health, education, and environmental projects. As they do so, Omprakash works to enrich their experiences and amplify their impacts by helping them connect with other actors in our network and share a wealth of relevant stories, media, and resources via our free online repository. read more....

A Pecious Human Life

Every day, think as you wake up,
today I am fortunate to have woken up.
I am alive, I have a precious human life
I am not going to waste it.
I am going to use all my energies to develop myself,
to expand my heart out to others,
to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beigns.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama
