| The current group of 24 students at Kunpan Cultural School started their two years of study with us in September 2011 and will finish in August 2013. |
 At the moment there are four volunteers helping them with the exam preparation, two are from England, and the other two are from U.S.A. |
| We are pleased that for the last eight years, Kunpan Cultural School has been run by Tibetans themselves. Besides the Tibetan manager and the permanently employed Tibetan Computer teacher there are always between three to five Western volunteer English teachers. |

We are now fundraising in order to be able to build our own school somewhere near Dharamsala, as the rent on our current building will soon expire. We hope to be able to accommodate and educate 40 students, as we have found that the demand for places has always far outweighed the ability to accommodate them in the past; the last time we advertised for students we had 82 applications for only 24 spaces. |

Peace
We cannot achieve world peace
without first achieving peace
within overselves: inner peace.
In an atmosphere of hatred, anger,
competition and violence,
no lasting peace can be achieved.
These negative and destructive forces
must be overcome by compassion,
love and altruism, which are the essential
