My Introduction

Life is a stream; it's always flowing where there is ease and comfort until the source of river dries. Another saying is that life is full of story which is a mixture of happiness and sadness. So human's life is the same as a footstep. Sometimes goes up, sometimes goes down. There is no balance in the process of human life. Here let me tell you the real story of myself. My name is Gyatso. I was born in a small village to a peasant family. My village is located near Mount Everest.

Upper of the valley of village is covered with the snow mountain. A clean and beautiful river is flowing on the right side with peaceful sounds. The village is surrounded by fields. On the left side there are hills which are decorated with various brilliant flowers and plants. All the domestic animals were grassing there. That is my beloved homeland.

When I was seven years old my parents sent me to primary school in my village, it took about half an hour from my village to reach my school. Even if my parents sent me to school with great hope I could not learn to the full capability of mine intelligent and inspiration of my teachers. In a human life, childhood is the most important time to educate, but I never realized that was so important. So my childhood was spent with playing. In short I never considered seeking human's value.

When I was twelve years old I took final exam of the primary school, but I could not get opportunity to go to middle school because of my family problem. So rest of my life until I started my long journey to India was spent like stone age's men, that means I was uneducated one, even I didn't know whether the Tibet is independent or not, whether we have a leader or not, whether we have a history or not.

At the end of 2004 I traveled to India through ranges of mountains, dense and endless jungles, and carrying mounts of scarcity along with the soreness of parting from parents and siblings. Even if I can speak human language, I became foolish when I get in another area or environment. After dealing with those obstacles I got to the reception center of Tibet in Nepal which is my first time to enter the gate of my government. Especially that place is my first time to be together with sisters and brothers who were from different provinces of Tibet.

Life in India seems free and transparent. But sometimes I feel so lonely because I am a homeless one. On the positive side I achieved my priority wish which I hoped for when I was young, that is to see His Holiness. In addition, the greatest time which is indispensable for the humankind is education - I got into T.T.S. on 1th May 2005. It was my first step to learn English alphabet in my life, and the happiest period which I have ever had.

Right now I am going on with my study continuing and searching human's value and dignity under the generosity, kindness and guiding of the E.S.Trust and membership of it.

AOnly then I realized that I was an incomplete man but here I am not saying I am perfect now. Anyway I am better than before, because I have had more experiences and knowledge than when I was in my village with my sheep and yaks. As for my family members I am the only one who got to associate with books, pens and teachers. But I am not proud of it, because everything I possess is got from my parents and older generation.

So my wish and hope is that I will go there to die, where I was born and grew up. Also my parents and siblings are waiting and expecting for me to become not same as before. No matter how wonderful the dwelling in country of another I never forget my own country. The name of 'Tibetan' forever exists on my forehead so long as I can survive in this turmoil and restless world. Still I have lots of things to do.

Thanking you
