The Misery Of A Wanderer.

Who on the earth will understand the great misery of the wanderer and sympathize with him? Where will the wanderer find a shelter where he can rest in some warmth and peace? Will he ever get the beautiful things his heart longs for?

They say the wanderer has no ambition, no dream and no sense of beauty. No, I don't agree with them. I can't accept what they say. The wanderer certainly has his own ambition. He is dreaming the same dream everyone else dreams. He is looking at life in the same way. Day and night he is searching for the same thing that some have sought and found. Of course, after all he is the same human being and needs and wants the same thing. The only difference is that He is travelling from one village to the next for that very same thing.

Of course, the wanderer is cold at night and feels lonely during the day. He secretly envies other people for possessing beautiful things he only dreams of. He even sometimes pities himself and cries silently in his heart. However, the main cause of the anguish of his heart is not these things. It is how people look at him and treat him.

People generously give him food and kindly lend him shelter as he travels from one town to another. However, he knows they are doing so just because they believe he is a wanderer who has no home, no ambition and no dream. They want this wanderer to believe they are doing something meaningful and wonderful. That's what makes him truly miserable. That's what causes people to think the homeless wanderer, for whom they have done many good things, is an ungrateful bastard. That's what causes all problems.
