My Introduction
My name is Sonam Wangyal. I come from Xining in Tibet. I was born in December of 1990. I can speak Tibetan, Chinese and English. I finished class XII in China. I like science, Math, English and dancing so much!
I came to India in December of 2006, and then Tibetan Reception Centre in Dharamsala sent me to T.C.V Suja School, there I studied for a year and half, but I couldn't continue my study because I got very sick for months as I couldn't adapt with the weather, place and food in India, which are very different from Tibet.
In June of 2008, I left T.C.V Suja School and stayed at McLeod for two months. After that I went to Delhi and worked in an IT company for six months and I found things in company were very good, but I couldn't stay at Delhi longer as the weather was very hot at that time, so I came back to McLeod. After a month at McLeod, I joined a band called Gangchen ChoeSum Band. I had been performing Tibetan Dance in that band more than one year as I am very keen on dancing.
I joined Kunphan Cultural School in May of 2010; this is a precious opportunity to study English for me. At the moment, I don't want to do anything else, I just want to study hard.
Right now I have only three important things to accomplish which are to study hard, after school to establish a business in a western country and then go back to Tibet to look after my parents. For me, parents are the most important people in my life, because they raised me up with so much caring. Gradually, I am growing up and they are getting older and older, especially I am the only child of my parents, so I need look after them and I need repay for what they have done for me, and then they will feel happy for me and forever!
I believe that one day I can accomplish what I am dreaming…
Thanking you
