My Introduction
My name is Tseduk. I am a Tibetan and I was born in the eastern region of Tibet in 1988. My family is nomadic and my birth place is a small village surrounded by snow covered mountains and many forests. The village I was born in is called Wachen.
We have four seasons in Tibet. In the summer, there are green views everywhere. Growing wild are varieties of flowers and medicinal grasses. The plants give us pleasant smells and an air of freshness. In the winter, the weather is very cold and it snows a lot. I enjoy wearing thick clothing during the winter months. In fact, I enjoy all four seasons in Tibet.
I come from a large family. There are eight siblings including myself but unfortunately four have passed away. I am the youngest in my family. When my mother was pregnant with me, my parents divorced and they both remarried, with another woman and man.
I grew up with my mother and step-father. When I was young, I did not get an opportunity to attend school in Tibet because my family resources were limited and my mother's health wasn't good. I had to help my family with the nomadic life style looking after the yaks, sheep and horses. I have a very kind step-father. He took great care of me like a real father and l love my
step-father very much. I have many step-siblings and I am close to them all from both sides of the family.
After my step-brother on my mother's side had grown, he was able to help the family. I then left my home because I wanted to study Tibetan and Chinese languages but I couldn't get a suitable school for my age so I worked and did business in my county for some years . I opened a restaurant and a shop selling Tibetan souvenirs. It was not easy to work in a business because of my lack of education. When I was working in business in my county, I received a message from my family that I should come back to my home. I returned home and I stayed with my parents again. I helped them for some years and I was very happy to live with them but I really wanted to study. I asked my parents if I could go elsewhere for studying. They gave me their permission and I began to look for a school to improve my education. I realized that my future would be hopeless and meaningless so I decided to come to India to study.
At the end of 2005 I began my journey and I arrived in India early in 2006. I attended T. T. School for one year and a few months but unluckily I became ill and I had to leave. I lived at Mcleod Ganj for some months and then I went to Nepal and I stayed there for a short period of time. I tried to
go back to Tibet but I was not successful. I returned to India and I stayed at Mcleod Ganj until I came to E.S .Tibet school.
Now I am a student of E. S Tibet school and studying English and Computers. I am very happy being here at this lovely school. I am determined to complete my studies and I believe that this school will assist me to find a meaningful and colourful life.
I enjoy reading books, learning from others, travelling to different places and living with my family. I also like playing basketball and tennis but I am not generally good at sports. I like understandable and friendly people. I am always trying to understand others because it reduces problems and troubles in society. It is also the most difficult thing to do in our lives but it is the most important thing to do too .
Without other's support, love, kindness, compassion, affection and understanding, then it is impossible to have a meaningful and peaceful life in this world. Reading and writing are important but I believe that to understand others' problems is the real education in one's life.
Thanking you
