The most important experiences of my life
I can't believe how fast my time at ES Trust has gone by. Seven weeks in not nearly long enough and I am very sad to be leaving. Getting to know the students has been a wonderful experience and I have learned so much from them. Although there are many things I will take away from my time at the school, I will remember the students' kind and generous spirits most of all. Each one of them is truly remarkable and they have made this school a very special place. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be part of it.
hope I helped while I was here, and I hope to keep helping in the future. Thanks to everyone at E.S-Trust for being so welcoming.
With love and thanks,
Amanda and I wanted to leave this letter behind to let you know how grateful we are for the opportunity we had to live with you and teach you. You guys are all amazing. Your friendliness, generosity, and selflessness have truly inspired us, and we were humbled by the way in which you treated us as family. In additions, the conversations we had with you taught us so much – far more, we're sure, than we were able to teach you (though we hope you learned a few things from us as well!) Thanks, also, for being such great students. We loved teaching you and we both wish we could have stayed and continued doing it. We very much admire the hard work that you put into your studies and the positive spirit with which you approach learning. Keep it up! We have little doubt that if you continue to work hard, you’ll be able to achieve great things.
Anyway, we wish you the very best of luck in your lives. If there’s anything we can do to help you in the future, please don't hesitate to tell us and we'll do whatever we can. And if any of you ever decides to come to America, let us know and we'll try to show you around! Don't forget to write to us from time to time to let us know where you are and what you're doing!
With fond memories and much love and respect, your friends,
By Amanda Schleuss and Bill Thompson
