The most important experiences of my life
The seven all-too-short weeks I spent at ES Trust have been among the most enjoyable and memorable weeks of my life. While here, I met 23 amazing Tibetan students who inspired and humbled me with their exceptional friendliness, generosity, openness, and enthusiasm for life. By conversing with the students, and just by being a part of their daily lives, I learned so much–far more, I'm sure, than I was able to teach them. In addition, the beautiful and calm surroundings of the school gave me a peace of mind that I hope won't fade away too quickly when I return home. All in all, there is nothing else to say but that this was a truly life-altering experience, and I hope to repeat it someday. At the very least, I know that the memories I have of my time here will stay with me for the rest of my life. But I'm still sorry I have to leave!
I hope I helped while I was here, and I hope to keep helping in the future. Thanks to everyone at E.S-Trust for being so welcoming.
God Bless!

Amanda and I wanted to leave this letter behind to let you know how grateful we are for the opportunity we had to live with you and teach you. You guys are all amazing. Your friendliness, generosity, and selflessness have truly inspired us, and we were humbled by the way in which you treated us as family. In additions, the conversations we had with you taught us so much–far more, we're sure, than we were able to teach you (though we hope you learned a few things from us as well!) Thanks, also, for being such great students. We loved teaching you and we both wish we could have stayed and continued doing it. We very much admire the hard work that you put into your studies and the positive spirit with which you approach learning. Keep it up! We have little doubt that if you continue to work hard, you'll be able to achieve great things.
Anyway, we wish you the very best of luck in your lives. If there's anything we can do to help you in the future, please don't hesitate to tell us and we'll do whatever we can. And if any of you ever decides to come to America, let us know and we'll try to show you around! Don't forget to write to us from time to time to let us know where you are and what you're doing!
With fond memories and much love and respect, your friends,
